 Household Cleaning Spray Bottle $4 -
Printed on every 'Household Cleaning' spray bottle are recipes for All-Purpose
Cleaning, Glass Cleaning, and Shower Cleaning (mold & mildew inhibitor) recipe.
These recipes rely on the natural acidic and grease cutting properties of
vinegar, lemon juice and liquid soap, and the mild abrasive “scouring”
properties of borax.
These time-tested cleaning recipes are very effective and economical. Just one
gallon of vinegar (which typically retails between $1.50 to $3) will help
produce over 80 spray bottles of our All-Purpose Cleaning solution. While a four
pound box of Twenty Mule Team Borax will help produce over 400 spray bottles of
both the All-Purpose and Shower cleaning solutions printed on our cleaning spray
bottle!
The Shower Cleaning recipe works quite well to keep your shower looking clean.
Keep the spray bottle in your shower at all times and simply mist the walls
after each use. After giving your shower a thorough initial cleaning, this
recipe will help prevent the future buildup of mold, mildew and soap scum. Not every one appreciates the smell of vinegar when used in cleaning solutions.
You can minimize it's odor by adding 10 – 15 drops of an essential oil such as
tea tree, sweet orange, lime or lavender. Using Tea Tree oil to the All-Purpose
Cleaner and Shower Cleaner (not the glass cleaner) will provide an extra boost
of cleaning power. Tea Tree oil is a natural disinfectant! If you do use Tea
Tree oil, be sure to keep the spray bottle out of direct sunlight as the oils
will breakdown and loose their effectiveness.
 Garden Pest Control Spray Bottle $4 -
Our 'Garden Pest Control' recipe spray bottle also relies on natural products to
help control disease and pests in the garden. This recipe spray bottle includes
a recipe for All-Purpose Insect Repellent (meant to repel leaf chewing insects),
an Aphid Control spray, and an Anti-Fungal spray recipe. These earth-friendly
recipes can also be made inexpensively at home using common household items,
baking products and vegetables, saving you a ton of money! The All-Purpose
Insect Repellent recipe uses the natural repellent affects of onion, garlic and
cayenne pepper, and the insecticidal and surfactant properties of liquid soap.
The Aphid Control recipe (a favorite among rose lovers) uses a mixture of water
and potato flour. This slightly “gummy” solution traps the aphids and suffocates
them. A gentle rinse with a garden hose washes the dead aphids off your plants.

used to remove soil, microbes and pesticide residue from your fruits and
vegetables before eating. Who wants to give their child a healthy bite of an
apple if it's skin is covered with harmful residue? Even if purchasing
organically grown produce, or peeling skin before eating, health experts
recommend washing ALL produce before consuming. These recipes also utilize the
cleaning power of vinegar, baking soda and lemon juice.
And independent study performed by the editors of Cook's Illustrated Magazine
determined that a homemade vinegar solution was the most effective method at
cleaning produce – removing 98 percent of bacteria! Believe it or not, both
Veggie Wash recipes on our spray bottle will also double as cleaning solutions
as well. Information and studies produced by the USDA, Consumer Reports and the
Environmental Working Group, show that a majority of marketplace produce
